Everyday it seems like something is the new “hot” thing.
Right now its vampires. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know.
Let me start off by saying I’ve always liked vampires. They’re invincible virus spreading killing machines…
Or at least they used to be.
Now I never thought I should start dressing like a vampire, wearing fangs, and capes, and looking all dark, because that just sounds silly. Even on Halloween it seemed like there was probably something better I could be doing with my time.
With this new trend of vampires, they’ve given them hearts, and emotions, and now they’re all hot.
Why?! Why did they do this to vampires, they’re sullied forever!
I’ve read Dracula twice, ‘Salem’s Lot three times, and I would never ever touch a Twilight book. Yet the subject matter is [essentially] the same.
The best part is these new vampire followers will never know the joy and terror that the vampires of yore produced.
Even the Count from Sesame Street gave me nightmares.
I guess those days are gone.
